MAMA SITA'S All-Purpose Sauce is a Filipino version of the traditional brown sauce known as "All-Purpose Sauce". This sauce is thick, sweet and sour in taste and gives dishes a rich, caramelized color and flavor.
It is extremely versatile: it works great as a dipping sauce with fried spring rolls, fish, or other deep-fried dishes, for example. It is also used as a seasoning in cooking to add depth and richness to various stews and casseroles. The sauce is made from cane vinegar, sugar and spices, ensuring an authentic Filipino taste experience.
